I've changed the motif of my desktop wallpaper for the first time in over a year.
Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age has graced my computer for a recordbreakingly
long time but after finally seeing Return of the King last night I had to put Aragorn
up there instead. Amazing movie... Amazing movies actually but if this movie doesn't win
a lot of Oscars I'm gonna be seriously pissed off...

I've been addicted to Fanlistings
for quite a while and now I've started joining
Hatelistings as well. It's
quite fun actually. You just can't like everything.

Moved FantasyInc Studio
over to this host after getting some complaints. Apparently some pictures didn't show up
at my last host, Passagen. Can you believe that? Actually expect my sites to work??
The nerve of some people... ;) Took the oppurtunity to redesign the damn thing while I was
at it.

Can you afford me? I'm not exactly low maintenance. LOL! I'm worth exactly
$1,853,052.00.
How about you?

Got sick during my vacation. No big surprise there. And the vacation sucked
big time even before that so nothing changed really. Took the oppurtunity to get
all my fanlistings moved and upgraded to PHPFanbase. Fanlisting management suddenly
became a hell of a lot easier. Which is why I've created 2 new listings and applied for
6 more! Well, it's not like I have anything else to do... I also got the fanlistings I've
joined organized using Flinx. I've been joining listings like crazy after that. :) They're
quite addictive...
I just got approved to run the Vincent Price Fanlisting. Yay! I'm very pleased.

I'm finally in the process of moving my websites and fanlistings to my new host B-one.
So far I've moved Trash Productions,
Queens of the Stone Age Gallery
and the
Michael Whelan,
Modesty Blaise,
Queensrÿche
and
Michael Madsen
fanlistings. It will take a while to move all the fanlistings because I'm upgrading
the memberlists to PHPFanbase and there's a lot of people to move!

Still haven't moved my websites to my new webhost. The companies involved are
incredibly slow and there were, of course, problems. Why can't something go smoothly
just once in my life? Everytime I try to do just about anything something always goes wrong.
Even with something that should be uncomplicated like getting my websites hosted.
But those problems are petty, annoying but petty, compared to the real issues in my life
like relationships, work, money, low selfesteem etc etc. I hate my life.
I went to Sweden Rock Festival June 6-8. My first ever festival. I went for one reason only and
that was my favorite band Queensryche. I've finally seen them live and Geoff Tate... best singer
ever. Other great shows were Demon and Danko Jones, they were great fun. Saw bits and pieces
of other bands as well like Sepultura, Anthrax, Motörhead, Jethro Tull, Uriah Heep, Yes,
Whitesnake and Twisted Sister to name a few. Some sucked, some didn't. ;) Of course I got sick
while at the festival. Got the flu in the middle of summer. It wouldn't have bothered
me that much if it weren't for the fact that I was supposed to go to Hultsfred a couple of days
later. Had to skip the first day of the festival and missed In Flames who'd replaced Linkin Park.
Kinda pissed me off but since I live in In Flames hometown I'll probably get to see them live
another time. I was still sick as a dog when we left for Hultsfred on Friday the 13th of June
but I had to see Queens of the Stone Age. The only reason I wanted to go to Hultsfred in the
first place. Unfortunately I don't remember much of the gig because of the fever but I'm sure
it was good. ;) Just kidding, it was great! I left early the next day and skipped Audioslave
on the last day of the festival.
All in all I'm glad I went to both festivals even tho I was sick half the time. Sweden Rock I'd
consider going to again but Hultsfred... no f**king way. If I never see a portable toilet again
it'll be too soon. The ones at Sweden Rock were fresh compared to the ones at Hultsfred. Just my
initial observation Sweden Rock felt more well organized. And the people ranged from
6-year-old kids to people over 60 while at Hultsfred there were just drunk teenagers.
Diversity is more fun.

If you're wondering why my websites hasn't been updated for ages it's because
my computer crashed 2 months ago and I just got it back. Then my Internet connection
stopped working. And my Queens of the Stone Age website along with most of my
fanlistings has been frozen because they exceeded the monthly bandwidth allowance.
But that will soon be rectified I hope. I'm in the process of moving most of my
websites to a proper webhost. Hopefully everything will be up and running by next week.

Everybody's doing these lists so I thought I'd make one too.
Best albums of 2002:
- Queens of the Stone Age - Songs for the deaf
- Korn - Untouchables
- In Flames - Reroute to remain
- Audioslave - Audioslave
- Foo Fighters - One by one
- Disturbed - Believe
Started another Fanlisting. This one for
Josh Homme.
No big surprise there. ;) I wanted to make a QOTSA Fanlisting but that one was already taken.
So I did something I don't really like to do and that's to single out one person in a band.
But I don't think anyone really minds. Besides, he's really... hot, gorgeous, handsome, tasty, tall,
talented... Take your pick.
December 16th 2002
I've just updated my
Bill Paxton,
Craig Ferguson,
Queens of the Stone Age and
Rik and Ade websites. Why I have this
many websites in the first place is beyond me. And I keep making more and more and more... I have no life.
December 13th 2002
I've changed the look of the site. Again. The new design is kinda dark and messy. Very much like
my life...
I'm going for this whole Josh Homme feel this time around. I just love Queens of the Stone Age.
September 2002
I've liked KoRn for years and I finally got to see them live in Stockholm
on August 26th (2002). And I hate to say this but it was kind of a disappointment.
The music was great and Jonathan sounded exactly as I had imagined but neither
bandmember had any interaction with the audience whatsoever. It was a bit of a letdown.
They just went in, did their thing and left. It wasn't the experience I was expecting.
They seemed very tired and looked like they couldn't wait to leave.
Still, I'm very glad I've seen them live but right now I have no real wish to go through all the trouble
and expenses with concert and train tickets and to find somewhere to stay the night again.
If they ever decide to play in Stockholm again this girl ain't going.
Disturbed on the other hand were great. They used the limited time they had before KoRn got on
with trying to get the audience psyched up. And David Draiman's voice... powerful.
