Craig Ferguson is best known to American audiences as the supercilious Nigel Wick, Drew Carey's boss on ABC's The Drew Carey Show, a role he has played for the past eight years to much acclaim. He is now becoming well known to American moviegoers, as well, for his multiple roles as actor/writer/director/producer/creator.
One of Great Britain's leading comedians, Ferguson has starred in several BBC self-titled specials and series. On stage he has starred in the West End revival of The Rocky Horror Picture Show and received critical raves in the national tour of Dario Fo's Diary of an Anarchist. He also starred in Neil Simon's The Odd Couple at the Edinburgh Theatre Festival.
This summer Ferguson will also be seen in Warner Brothers' Chain of Fools with Jeffrey Goldblum, Selma Hayak and Steve Zahn. Additional film credits include his role in Born Romantic, starring with Jimi Mistry, Catherine McCormack, Jane Horrocks, Adrian Lester and David Morrissey.
Ferguson is divorced and has one son.
